Profikomp^® Environmental Technologies Inc, is proud to announce to be a Beneficiary of the SUAVE Internationalization Lump Sum project. We used the grant to promote our international expansion through a single international mission in the USA, California. In the first phase of the project Profikomp^® under the mentorship of 301′ Organics, has put together an action plan to promote small scale composting within the urban agriculture community in California.

Our experts, dr. László Aleksza and Lothar A. Deyerling introduced organic waste recovery with Profikomp® Technologies in Pasadena, California and the surrounding area in early October 2024.

A main point of the program was an event in Pasadena, where the Profikomp Breathable Drum^® composting technology – a stand-alone, encapsulated composting solution – was demonstrated to invited visitors, like representatives from CALTECH University and a San Diego authority. The event focused on showcasing Breathable Drum Technology’s role in aerobic composting, with a live demo illustrating the drum’s daily loading with typical kitchen waste. Participants tested the compost screening process, generating lively discussions on the end product’s efficacy as an organic fertilizer. Highlighting its versatility, the Breathable Drum^® is designed with a PFAS-free membrane, aligning with California’s Decree 19333 for eco-friendly standards. Attendees noted its potential for integration into educational programs across kindergartens, schools, universities, and social institutions.

In addition, a number of meetings, discussions and composting site visits have been arranged to promote Profikomp^® Technologies with NGOs, composting plant- and company managers, community organisations, and urban agriculture companies.

Thanks to the SUAVE project the visits have demonstrated that Profikomp^® technologies fit with agricultural initiatives and offer a scalable model that can contribute to sustainable urban farming efforts. Their introduction in the United States would support sustainability and waste reduction goals, making them a valuable tool for the continent’s urban agriculture strategy.
