The ProfiKomp® Side-Wall System represents an advanced and cost-effective biowaste treatment solution. It features enclosed treatment units with concrete floors and side walls, isolating composting material from the surroundings. This design enables effective separation of rainwater and process water, reducing leachate treatment needs treatment units, also known as bunkers, can reach heights of 3.5 meters, widths of 6.0-9.0 meters, and lengths up to 60.0 meters, tailored to the site requirements and waste volume. The ProfiCover® is anchored to side walls for easy covering and uncovering, enhancing its lifespan. This unique semi-permeable membrane covers shield compost from external elements throughout the process.

Capacity

The modular design allows the technology to handle input capacities ranging from 500 to 300 000 tons per year.

Dimensions: the Treatment units, also known as bunkers, can reach heights of 3.5 meters, widths of 9.0 meters, and lengths up to 60.0 meters, tailored to the site requirements and waste volume.

In-Floor Aeration: The system exclusively utilizes an in-floor aeration system, which can involve various types of aeration materials.

Active Aeration Units: This setup incorporates active aeration units that ensure a continuous supply of oxygen to microorganisms. The aeration channels are either integrated into the concrete (in-floor) or through above-ground pipes (on-floor).

Enclosed Design: The ProfiCover® semipermeable membrane cover shields compost from external elements throughout the process while creating the optimal conditions for the operation of microorganisms. The ProfiCover® is anchored to side walls for easy covering and uncovering, enhancing its lifespan.
